In development: LCM6 application platform

Embedded systems can take on more and more tasks very cost-effectively. Our new LCM6 application platform is more than just a display or control module. It is equipped with additional functionality so that you can use the LCM6 to implement many important functions for your system and perhaps even your entire application.

  • Real-time operating system FreeRTOS: Application software can now also run directly on the platform in separate tasks. This often saves on additional hardware components.
  • High computing power
  • Display functions as before, but higher performance
  • Network functionality and various equipment options:
    • Wired: Ethernet (RJ45 socket) or single-pair Ethernet
    • WLAN 2.4 or 5.0 GHz
    • LoraWAN

    Standard protocols such as MQTT are predestined for IoT applications. The GUI‑Designer software for designing user interfaces for HMI components also uses this sophisticated concept of control via “system variables”.

    Communication is secured using established cryptographic procedures.

  • Expandability:
    • Control of sensors or actuators with the LCM-I/O board
    • Access to the microcontroller's peripherals and extensions for special requirements of your application
