In addition to a very good general technical understanding, you can expect sound and in-depth knowledge of hardware and software development.
Our expertise in the field of hardware development covers the entire process chain from system architecture to the optimized selection of components, circuit development, dimensioning and verification, PCB layout and optimization for production. Of course, this also includes the documentation, starting with the circuit diagrams, calculations for dimensioning and system tolerance to a hardware-software interface to the test specification for production. It goes without saying that we coordinate all these steps with the requirements of our customers and their suppliers involved in the project.
We have particular expertise in the area of LCD display control and cover all circuit components, such as contrast voltage generation, display lighting and the control of the LCD itself with the microcontroller system architectures required for the application. Here we can draw on our repertoire of tested circuit blocks and thus realize customer-specific solutions very quickly and cost-effectively.
We are very familiar with the requirements for high reliability and EMC compliance, even under "automotive" conditions, for example, and the technical measures required for this at low cost. We understand a PCB layout to mean not only connecting the signals together, but also considering the signal paths as an RF line depending on the requirements, e.g. the return current path and the important properties of the layers for the power supply. Signal integrity and immunity are also optimized as a result.
We have good system and measurement knowledge in the field of radio and HF technology, as well as experience in radio wave propagation.
In software development, we differentiate between the development of software for the embedded system and the software that is also required for a complete application on a third-party system, e.g. a PC.
The software for an embedded system can be implemented on your existing system. Of course, we are also happy to implement the required hardware for you. The programming for this is usually done with C or C++ and if it goes further into technicalities, assembler is an option. We see the optimization of the solution so that it can also run on cost-saving platforms with limited memory resources and low computing power as an important part of the development task.
Embedded systems often work in conjunction with PCs as the front end or special PC software is required for configuration. We are familiar with this from our products, and you are welcome to assign such tasks to us if required.
We have particular experience in the realization of graphical user interfaces for embedded systems through our own product development.
